This session will outline the policy vision and key initiatives for expanding Taiwan’s bond market. It will cover major measures across the issuance, trading and investment segments, and highlight the role of Taiwan’s bond market in supporting corporate financing, public infrastructure and industrial transition, while deepening links with international markets and positioning Taiwan as a new core of Asian bond markets.

This panel will bring together representatives from the public sector, scholars and market experts to discuss Taiwan’s bond market expansion initiatives. Drawing on both international experience and local perspectives, the discussion will cover regulatory adaptation, issuance practices and infrastructure financing, and explore ways to broaden market participation, create more channels for capital allocation and further deepen Taiwan’s bond market.
